Troubleshooting
This chapter provides solutions for common issues when setting up and operating the FAQ Manager.
FAQ page does not appear in the shop
If your FAQ page is not visible in the frontend, check the following in order:
- Active status: Is the FAQ page marked as Active under FAQ Manager → Pages?
- Sales channel: Is at least one sales channel selected in the right column?
- Saved? Were all changes confirmed with Save?
- Navigation link: Is the shop category linking to the FAQ page correctly configured and active? More information under Add FAQ page to navigation.
FAQ entries do not appear on the page
If entries are missing on the FAQ page:
- Category assigned? Is the entry assigned to a category under FAQ Manager → Entries?
- Category on page? Is the category also assigned to the FAQ page (under FAQ Manager → Pages → Categories)?
- Entry active? Is the entry itself marked as Active?
- Category active? Is the associated category also marked as Active?
SEO path is not displayed
If no path appears under Canonical URLs:
- Make sure the FAQ page has been saved at least once.
- Make sure a sales channel is selected in the dropdown.
- If still no path appears: open the page, make a minor change, and save again.
Statistics dashboard shows no data
If the dashboard under FAQ Manager → Statistics is empty:
- Make sure the plugin has been updated to version 2.4.0 or higher.
- The dashboard only shows views that occurred after v2.4.0 was installed. Historical data from earlier versions is not available.
Pagination is not displayed
If pagination is missing in the frontend:
- Check that pagination has been enabled in the Settings of the FAQ page.
- Make sure there are more entries than the configured per-page limit – otherwise no pagination is needed and it will not be displayed.
