Installation

This chapter explains how to install and activate the FAQ Manager in your Shopware shop.

Step 1: Add the plugin

Before you can install the plugin, it must be available in your Admin under Extensions. There are two ways to do this:

Option A – Via your Shopware account (recommended):

  1. In the Admin, navigate to Extensions → Store.
  2. Click "Connect account" and sign in with your Shopware credentials.
  3. Once connected, all plugins purchased for this domain will automatically appear under Apps or Themes.

Option B – Manual installation via ZIP:

  1. Sign in at account.shopware.com.
  2. Navigate to Merchant area → Shops → Your domain → Licenses.
  3. Download the FAQ Manager ZIP file.
  4. In the Shopware Admin, go to Extensions → My extensions.
  5. Click "Upload extension" in the top right and select the ZIP file.

Step 2: Install and activate the plugin

Once the plugin appears under Extensions → My extensions:

  1. Open the context menu of the FAQ Manager via the "..." button.
  2. Click Install.
  3. Wait for the installation to complete.
  4. Activate the plugin using the toggle in the "Status" column.

Step 3: After installation

After activation, a FAQ Manager menu item will appear in the left navigation of your Shopware Admin. From there you can access pages, categories, and entries directly.

Note: If the menu item does not appear immediately, reload the Admin page (F5).
