Tips for great FAQ entries
- Write questions from the customer's perspective: Write the question the way your customer would ask it – not as an internal staff member would phrase it.
- Keep answers short and clear: A concise answer of 2–4 sentences is better than a long block of text. Use lists or paragraphs when more structure is needed.
- Use related entries: Link entries that belong to the same topic. This improves navigation and helps customers find further relevant answers.
- Assign to a category: An entry without a category will not appear on any FAQ page. Assign at least one category to every entry.
