Pagination
Note: Available from version 2.4.0
When an FAQ page contains many entries, the page in the frontend can become very long. With pagination, you split the FAQ entries across multiple pages, improving the overview for your customers.
When is pagination useful?
Pagination is recommended when an FAQ page contains more than 10–15 entries. Shorter lists benefit more from a good category structure than from pagination.
Activate pagination
- In the Admin, navigate to FAQ Manager → Pages.
- Open the desired FAQ page by clicking on its name.
- Scroll to the Settings section.
- Enable the Pagination option.
- Set the desired number of entries per page.
- Click Save.
The pagination navigation will automatically appear in the frontend below the FAQ entries after saving.
Recommendations
- 10–20 entries per page is a good baseline for most shops.
- Fewer entries per page increases clarity, but leads to more page loads.
- Make sure the category structure is preserved even when pagination is enabled.
