Link an FAQ Page to a Category

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open the FAQ Manager: In your shop's admin area, navigate to FAQ Manager > Pages.

  2. Select the desired FAQ page: Click on the page you want to link to a category or shop page.

  3. Scroll to the "Canonical URLs" block: In this section you will find the SEO paths for the different language versions of your FAQ page.

  4. Select the sales channel: Choose the sales channel for which you want to create the link.

  5. Copy the SEO path: The SEO path is displayed below the selected sales channel. Copy the path to your clipboard.

  6. Create the category:

    • Create a new category in the Shopware Admin.
    • Select Link as the category type.
    • Scroll to the Custom Link section.
    • Select External as the link type.
    • In the Link target field, paste the copied SEO path with a leading slash.
    • Example: /FAQ (for the default language) or /en/FAQ (for the English language).
  7. Save the changes: Save the settings of the category or shop page.


Note:

  • You can change the SEO path of the FAQ page at any time. In this case, you must update the link in the category or shop page.
  • You can link multiple FAQ pages to different categories or shop pages.
