Create an FAQ Page

Create multiple FAQ pages to structure your content and make it easier for your customers to find answers.

  1. In the admin panel, navigate to FAQ Manager > Pages in the left-hand navigation.
  2. You will see an overview of all existing FAQ pages.
  3. Click the Create button in the top right to create a new FAQ page.
  4. Use the form that follows to configure the page.

The following settings are available:

General

FieldDescription
TitleThe title is displayed in the frontend as the headline (h1).
DescriptionThe description is displayed below the title (headline).

Settings

FieldDescription
PositionThe position is used for sorting in the admin and has no effect on the frontend.
TemplateChoose from 3 available templates. These affect how the page is displayed in the frontend.
ActiveUse this to control whether the FAQ page is displayed in the frontend.

Categories

Assigned CategoriesAssign already created categories here.

Canonical URLs

FieldDescription
Canonical URLsThe SEO path is automatically generated when the FAQ page is saved, for each sales channel. Select the desired sales channel to view the SEO path. For more information see SEO Paths.

SEO

FieldDescription
Meta TitleHeading for the CMS function — recommended maximum 50–60 characters (excluding spaces).
Meta DescriptionThe recommended meta description is 200–300 characters.
KeywordsMeta keywords are no longer taken into account by Google.
IndexingDefine the indexing settings for the FAQ page here. For more information see Indexing.

Additional options:

  • You can create categories for the questions to better structure the FAQ page.
  • You can link the FAQ page to other websites or social media channels.

Once you have made all your settings, click the "Save" button to create the new FAQ page.

Note: You can edit the FAQ page at any time by clicking on the page name in the overview.
