Image Editor

From version 2.1.0, customers can edit image files directly in the upload widget before uploading. The built-in image editor allows easy cropping and rotation.

Features

• Crop — free cropping or with a fixed aspect ratio
• Rotate — rotate image by 90°
• Mirror — flip horizontally or vertically

How it works

1. Select or drop a file in the Uppy Dashboard
2. Click the pencil icon (✎) next to the file preview
3. Edit the image in the editor
4. Click "Save" — the edited image replaces the original

Note: The image editor is only available for image files (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, etc.). For other file types like PDFs or documents, the icon will not be shown.
