Welcome to Quality Gate Pro for Shopware 6!
Quality Gate Pro makes sure your product data meets defined quality standards before products become visible to customers. The plugin checks products automatically on every save and in scheduled background scans, shows violations directly on the product and in a dashboard, and can — if you want — remove the visibility of faulty products per sales channel.
Out of the box the plugin runs in the safe "Report only" mode — violations are detected and shown, but nothing about your products is changed. Visibility is only removed once you deliberately switch the operating mode to "Enforce".
What can the plugin do?
- Configurable rule engine — five built-in checks (name, description, minimum images, category, manufacturer), each configurable as a warning or blocker
- Two operating modes — "Report only" (default, safe) or "Enforce" (remove visibility per sales channel)
- Real-time validation — products are checked on every save; the result appears directly on the product
- Quality display on the product — a status badge in the header, a violations section on the "General" tab and a status column in the product listing
- Dashboard — KPI overview and a violations table with CSV export
- Overrides — exempt individual products from the check with a justification, globally or per sales channel
- Scheduled scans — hourly background check of the entire catalog with admin notification
- Audit log — every action is recorded for traceability
How the plugin is structured
Quality Gate Pro works with a global default rule set that is created on installation and contains five blocker rules. Severities, the minimum image count and the operating mode are configured in the plugin settings.
- Rules — define which product data must be present (name, description, images, category, manufacturer)
- Severity — each rule is warning, blocker or disabled. Only blockers can remove visibility in enforce mode
- Operating mode — decides whether blocker violations only get reported or also lead to visibility removal
Recommended first-time setup
- Install the plugin
- Configure — review severities, minimum images and scan settings
- Understand the operating mode — stay in the safe "Report only" mode at first
- Check the dashboard — get an overview of existing violations
- Only then — if desired — switch to "Enforce"
