Redirect & 404 Manager
Manage redirects (301/302) and log 404 errors for Shopware 6 — no theme changes, no code, directly from the administration.
- Version:
- v1.0.0
- Compatibility:
- SW 6.7
Welcome to Redirect & 404 Manager for Shopware 6!
Redirect & 404 Manager (FutiRedirect) gives you a dedicated administration module for creating 301 and 302 redirects while also seeing which URLs in your shop actually produce a 404 error. Both areas are connected: from any 404 entry you can create a matching redirect with a single click.
The plugin is free. It does not touch any theme files and requires no custom code — everything is managed from the admin module.
What can the plugin do?
- Manage redirects — create, edit, activate/deactivate, and delete 301 or 302 redirects in a dedicated administration module
- 404 monitoring — URLs that are not found are automatically logged and sorted by frequency
- Fix from 404 — create a redirect from any 404 entry with a single click, with the source path already pre-filled
- Hit counter — every redirect shows how often it has actually been triggered
- No theme changes, no code — everything is handled through the administration
Structure of the plugin
Redirect & 404 Manager consists of two connected areas under the Content menu:
- Redirects — the list of all created 301/302 redirects with source path, target URL, type, status, and hits
- 404 Log — the list of all URLs that were not found, with hits and last occurrence, sorted by frequency
Matching in the storefront is exact-path based (an exact comparison, no wildcards, no regular expressions) — see the chapters Status Codes and Excluded Paths for details.
Recommended setup workflow
- Install the plugin
- Configure it — check 404 logging (enabled by default)
- Wait a few days for the 404 log to fill up
- Turn frequent 404 hits directly into redirects using Fix from 404
- During a migration or relaunch, also create redirects manually for known old URLs in advance — see Migration Scenarios
